Up and coming hotels in LA

Los Angeles is ready for a surge in the hospitality industry, with a whole host of properties due to open in the next couple of years. Here we give you the run down on some of the most hotly anticipated openings.

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills
The first Waldorf Astoria on the west coast will occupy the prestigious destination on the corner of Wilshire and Santa Monica Boulevard. Harking back to the golden age of glamour, guests will enjoy envious views over Beverly Hills.

James Hotel WeHo
Another new addition to the west coast is the James Hotel WeHo, the first new build hotel in WeHo in nearly 30 years. The hotel will have a range of room categories, from their signature penthouse suites to two “bungalow suites”.

Nomad Downtown
The resurgence of Downtown LA continues as it becomes home to the second outpost of the Nomad Hotel chain. The hotel will feature 241 guest bedrooms, a rooftop pool bar and event space with panoramic views over the city.

Dream Hollywood
The Dream will be situated in the heart of Hollywood. The hotel will offer a rooftop pool with a nightclub, the pièce de résistance of which will be a retractable roof.

Edition WeHo
The Mondrian Hotel won’t be the only Schrager designed hotel on the Sunset Strip for much longer, as the Edition West Hollywood is due to open in 2018.
