First up we have INNSIDE by Melia, this contemporary hotel is located right in the city centre and within five minutes’ walk of the train stations at Deansgate and Oxford Road.  With a resident DJ in its restaurant and bar, dressed-down staff and minimalist décor, it aims to create an informal atmosphere for business and leisure travellers alike.

If hotels aren’t your style or you’re staying for a while longer, then stay at Staycity Aparthotels Manchester Piccadilly. These bright and shiny apartments offer style on a budget, right by Manchester Piccadilly train station. Think funky beanbags and bright splashes of colour against a minimalist backdrop. The welcoming round-the-clock café serves breakfast and more. Every apartment has a seating and dining area and a kitchen, equipped with a dishwasher.

If you’re visiting MediaCity, then the Holiday Inn MediaCity is by far best location to stay! This hotel is situated within ‘The Studios’ complex and home of the BBC and ITV studios. The food offering is an eclectic menu with homemade dishes, featuring great burgers, sandwiches, salads, wings and ribs rubbing shoulders with the most classic of British pub staples; the homemade pie.

Alternatively, if you’re into something real fancy, why not try the award winning, Adam Reid at The French. The French strikes the perfect balance between heritage and progressive cuisine. While the restaurant is steeped in history, the current menu offers modern British food that delivers consistently excellent flavours, by using the best seasonal produce and the very latest technological advances.
