Mama Shelter, London
Who: French hospitality group Mama Shelter (part of the Accor Hotel Group) is opening the UK’s first Mama Shelter in Shoreditch!
What: Aimed at Millennials, the Mama Shelter will fuse restaurant and hotel concepts to make one distinctive social space, offering social activities for guests, and an unmissable design-led approach. We’re looking forward to the ping pong tables and the photo and videobooths!
When: July 2019
Grantley Hall, Yorkshire Dales
Who: Grantley Hall was purchased by the Sykes family in 2015 and has undergone a multimillion-pound restoration to transform it into a luxury hotel.
What: This 17th-century hall is located near Fountains Abbey on a private island with a lake and listed Japanese garden. It will feature seven restaurants and bars, from a fine-dining restaurant to Champagne and cocktail bar! You can also relax amongst the idyllic Yorkshire countryside in the Three Graces Spa.
When: Summer 2019.
The Pig at Bridge Place, Canterbury
Who: Home Grown Hotels, the parent company to the hugely successful Pig brand of boutique hotels are opening The Pig at Bridge Place (formerly Bridge Place Country Club).
What: This previously secluded country club, has seen some sights, playing host to the likes of Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd in the 70s! This hotel has 28 rooms in total, of which seven bedrooms, will sit in the main red-brick house, 12 rooms in a new Coach House, as well as a clutch of luxed-up huts with wood-burning stoves!

The Stratford, East London
Who: The Manhattan Loft Corporation is bringing back the concept of loft living to London with it’s new design hotel, The Stratford.
What: Set across six floors, The Stratford boasts a Scandinavian style timber finish mixed with old-world opulence. Each of the 150 rooms will feature hi-tech touches including a built-in television with Sky Entertainment and Google Chromecast and complimentary high speed Wi-Fi! You’ll also get some epic views of the Olympic Park from the seventh-floor sky garden!

Moxy York Stonebow, York
Who: Moxy, Marriott International’s budget-lifestyle brand is opening a millennial/tech-savvy hotel in York later this year!
What: But the lobby is the real place to be, gone are the typical hotel lobby with a few amenities, the Moxy offers a full-service bar, coffee bar and even communal games! Each of the 118 functional and tech-savvy rooms features furiously fast Wifi, screencasting and enough USB plus, to keep you at 100%!
