Our Quick Guide to Sustainability

Here at Access Bookings, we’re quite fond of planet earth, that’s why we’re committed to reducing our carbon footprint to keep our wonderful home green and healthy and of course make a positive difference! So we proudly stand by our commitment to be environmentally friendly, re-use, recycle and be environmentally efficient in our day to day work!

Now, certification in the tourism industry has always been a tumultuous affair, so we operate on our own eco-friendly grading. In fact, we’ve even worked on our criteria alongside BAFTA. Albert is a collaborative, indie and broadcaster backed project created by BAFTA, that aims for all UK screen content to be made in a way that benefits individuals, industry organisations and the planet. Currently, Access is the only travel agent listed on the BAFTA Albert website, this itself shows how committed we are to making a positive difference.

Our environmental policy accredits providers who are able to demonstrate that they operate in an environmentally friendly manner.

Now we don’t give these away willy nillly! Venues are asked a series of questions about their property and the services they offer. These are then ranked by our team who will award them either bronze, silver or gold – dependent on how they meet criteria. Our handy badges are on all of our bookings and enquires, so you know a venues grading straight from the get go.
