Access Bookings recognised with outstanding ‘B’ CDP rating

Access Bookings has once again been recognised for its commitment to environmental transparency and sustainability, earning a ‘B’ rating for the second year running for climate change from CDP, the global environmental non-profit that runs the world’s only independent environmental disclosure system.

The Staffordshire-based travel and management company achieved the rating based on data submitted through CDP’s comprehensive climate change questionnaire, placing it among nearly 20,000 companies scored globally in 2025, and more than 22,100 organisations that reported environmental data during the year.

CDP applies a rigorous, independent methodology to assess the quality of environmental disclosure, awareness of climate-related risks, environmental management practices and evidence of best practice.

“A CDP score is a clear signal of a company’s commitment to high-quality data, enabling earth-positive economic decisions that future-proof operations, improve access to capital, and strengthen competitiveness and compliance. Tackling environmental risks head-on builds resilience, drives innovation, and unlocks investment. We look forward to seeing companies build on this recognition and turn ambition into meaningful action.”

Sherry Madera, CEO of CDP

Achieving a ‘B’ rating marks an important milestone for Access, highlighting the company’s focus on transparency, accountability and continuous improvement in climate action.

And sustainability is embedded across its operations and extended through partnerships such as albert, the BAFTA-run sustainability programme for film and TV productions, originally developed by the BBC. This collaboration allows the company to extend its environmental impact beyond its own operations, helping the creative sector and partner organisations adopt environmentally responsible practices.

“Receiving a B rating for the second time really validates the work we’ve done and are continuing to do to embed environmental responsibility at every level of our business. Transparency is the foundation for action, and this milestone shows we’re on the right path, with plenty of room still to grow.
Our collaboration with initiatives like albert is particularly exciting because it allows us to extend our impact beyond our own operations, supporting the creative sector and our partners in adopting sustainable practices that make a real difference.”
