Ending 2025 on a high with two major award wins

We’re thrilled to announce a standout close to 2025, with two stellar award wins recognising our leadership in travel management for media, entertainment, and sport.

We have recently scooped Agency of the Year at the Meetings Industry Association (MIA) and Best Business Serving Sport at the Sport Business Awards.

These accolades highlight what has always set us apart, a 24/7 operation with dedicated specialists handling every booking and combining deep sector expertise, innovative solutions, ESG leadership, and genuine care for people.  James Austin, Director of Organisational Development at Access Bookings says:

“Delivering a service designed around the fast pace, unpredictability, and creative demands of media and entertainment is what sets our business apart. It’s the blend of specialist knowledge and a culture of care that truly differentiates us from generic agencies.”

MIA Win – Agency of the Year and recognition in ESG Excellence

We appointed a full-time ESG Director, reaffirmed our net zero by 2030 target, and committed to funding carbon removal at 110% of 2022 levels.

All our office locations now run on 100% renewable energy tariffs, single-use plastics have been eliminated, and internal events have been redesigned to reduce food waste. Furthermore, our Accessibility Help Desk and Preferred Programme have driven a 28% increase in diverse bookings, while employee wellbeing, equity, and inclusion have been strengthened through expanded policies, leadership promotions, and a £1,500 per-person annual training investment.

These initiatives have lifted our CDP score from D to B, the highest available for SMEs, and which reinforce our leadership in sustainable, accessible business travel.

Sport Business Awards Win – Excellence in Sports Travel

Our Sport Business Award win for Best Business Serving Sport highlights how these principles translate into high-pressure sports environments.

From international teams to broadcasters and event organisers, we provide specialist travel support right around the clock, managing complex logistics with sustainability, efficiency, and inclusivity at the forefront.

A standout project this year was supporting the BBC’s coverage of UEFA Euro 2024/an international football tournament overseas, and delivering one of their/the most sustainable operations to date. Despite challenges like rail strikes and border controls, our team maintained professionalism at all times, helped to reduced waste in the process, met carbon targets, and ensured seamless schedules were met and exceeded all while providing on-the-ground support throughout the tournament.

As we celebrate these achievements, we’re already looking ahead to 2026, a year where we aim to push the boundaries of sustainable, accessible, and innovative travel even further.

With new projects, continued ESG leadership, and an unwavering focus on people and purpose, we’re excited to set new benchmarks for the media, entertainment, and sports sectors, proving once again that excellence is just the starting point for us.
