During the past few weeks we have noticed many of the major brands have instigated new cleaning policies. Will this give guests the reassurance they need to book with confidence? Only time will tell. What we do know is that the industry has embraced the need for transparency, to let travellers know what they are doing to try and ensure the safety of their guests.
Many accommodation organisations have partnered with health or cleaning companies to create their own programmes, from Hilton’s collaboration with the makers of Lysol, to Extended Stay America working with Proctor & Gamble, and Four Seasons partnership with John Hopkins Medicine International.
