What is the access apprenticeship programme then?
Our apprenticeships combines on-the-job practical work experience with study, enabling you to gain experience at the same time as taking nationally recognised qualifications, completing our programmed learning and earning a salary. It doesn't matter whether you're just leaving school or seeking to start a new career; the only prerequisites are that you're living in England and are not in full-time education.

How does it work then?
We work with South and City College Birmingham, Birmingham Metropolitan, Remit and the Babington Group to provide the best education and content. We support you for between 12-18 months while you study your NVQ in Business Administration, Customer Care or Social Media and Digital Marketing. Depending on the qualification this can range from NVQ Level 2 to Level 7.

what our apprentices say


During my time working at Access Bookings, I have accumulated a lot of useful skills that will help me with any future career I would be interested in taking. I have learnt how to work efficiently, yet quickly and accurately. I have also learnt how to work well within a small team and within a whole department. Access Bookings is an interesting company to work for, as the work is always new and different and there are many internal opportunities available. The company is very good at encouraging and ensuring that whilst working here, you will receive some kind of education.

I feel lucky to be a part of the company as an apprentice, this has enabled me to work with my colleagues on the job whilst learning new skills and completing my college course. I have also taken many opportunities to go on fam trips outside of work time, during these trips I have represented the company in many different locations such as Bristol, London and Liverpool. Access also have regular hotel visits which have helped me get to know our hotel contacts better and build upon working relationships with them.
